   Real avid is cheap Chinese shit, ruined a 6.5 creedmoor barrel by using one of there dog shit bore snakes. Will avoid everything they make.

   I’ve disliked buying from aim ever since their customer service told me reset wasnt a critical function of a trigger after they refused to warranty a trigger that had the worst reset I’ve ever felt (sometimes failing to reset at all).

   I got this tool (rifle version) as a gift. I wouldnt recommend it. But if someone gives it to you, its not something to just throw away.

   You could probably get it out with a 36″-48″ piece of brass rod,, instead of using a hammer just use the weight of the rod like a slide hammer
