   You could get just get a brand new M1 Garand that shoots 308 for 1k @ CMP.

   Yeah yeah M1As aren’t accurate, Springfield is questionable, Garands are better..but I don’t know guys…I just like this.

   Just bought one of these yesterday, thought I’d share the deal. They’ve got some other stuff on sale for shot show but this was the only one that really caught my eye.

   I think I’m going to pick up an expert grade M1 soon. But do I go with the 30-06 or the 308?

   I’m leaning towards getting a 30-06 m1 and then buy a 308 bolt or battle rifle later on.

   I’m thinking I’d prefer an original configuration M1.

   This is basically a .308 Garand with a detachable mag. Honestly, the Garand might shoot better for less…
