    I maintain that Kel Tec should abandon the rfb and make an “rdb-h” that takes 308 pmags.

    Run away from this one. I owned one, and it was one of the worst guns I ever purchased. Constant feeding and cycling issues despite spending hours adjusting the gas block, smoothing feed lips on magazines, and trying all different types of ammo.

    On top of those issues, the accuracy was 3moa on a good day. Sold it and never looked back.

    I own one, wanted one for over 10 years. They are finicky. The difference between short stroking, and being over gassed, is about a 1/4 inch of bolt travel. Because of this you normally find a round it likes, tune for it, and only feed it that round. It also isn’t the nicest on brass. Its a tilt bolt so accuracy is … meh. Most will claim 2-3moa, every now and then someone claims 1 moa, but it is not the norm.

    It is definitely a fun shooter, but I will not put my life on its reliability to consistently cycle. Some days I get no miss feeds in a day on the range, and seemingly without changing anything, I get 5 in 1 mag.

    I built my AR-10 for about this much with all aero furniture, a Timmy trigger, a prs stock, and a custom built mcgowen barrel. Now my ar10 is considerably heavier, MUCH longer, but also more accurate. (20 inch .936 stainless bull barrel).

    Don’t think I ever realized these take FAL mags. If this is anything like my KSG Kel-Tec bullpup, I bet it’s rough on recoil.
