    Nice selection of parts. It annoys me how most sub1k rifles still use the obsolete govt profile. Only obvious cost effective upgrade to this I can think of would be an A5 buffer system.

    JFC this legitimately might be the best rifle deal I’ve ever seen under 1 grand. And it comes with a good red dot, amazing.

    If I wanted to be really nitpicky I would say that I don’t like the rail because it looks like ugly. And I like BCMs pistol grips because they’re a little more meaty and have a slightly better grip angle.

    Seriously, buy this, and a decent sling (no you don’t need to spend $60 just to find a good sling). And you’re gonna be better off than 90% of the people on here for a first AR.

    Also, a sidenote, I’m a huge fan of the faxon gunner/BA Hansen barrel profile, I think it really helps with weight distribution and is still heavy enough to not have too much POI shift.
