   Seems like a pretty good deal. Last year I paid $800 for the plain Jane version with no rails, brace or muzzle device. Sigh…

   Pretty competitive considering they don’t tax and the shipping’s reasonable. Bit of a better barrel length for an AK pistol than the Gen 2 ACE Fireball Edition, and with plenty of room for upgrades. IMO until IWI releases the 13″ models, these and the Romanian built 12.5″ Dracos are the best bang for your buck as far as AK pistols go.

   *Edit: 12.25″, not 12.5″. I’ve gotten into trouble in the past misrepresenting length*

   I’d buy one with a picatinny rear trunnion and put a CNC warrior folding brace on it. Doesn’t look right with an SBA.

   I traded an AR I built for this gun sometime in August. It’s fantastic! I’m 99% sure I have this model, the Alpha, as it has the pic rail for optics, buldged 1.5mm trunion, drilled receiver in the rear for a buffer tube adapter (it came with an SBA4 attached) or 1913 rail, etc. Feels great when firing – less recoil than I expected compared to a rifle length AK, and especially for the shorter barrel, I was pretty amazed. The action is very smooth and it’s a breeze to field strip too.
