    Neat gun, but if you want to use it for USPSA Single Stack, be aware… It has a bull barrel and is a full 5″ gun, so it is technically not Single Stack legal. Silly rule.

    Bul Armory makes good stuff. Israeli brand, usually very competitive in price. They make lots of 2011 models specific to USPSA divisions (Limited, Open). This pistol, even though it is single stack, is not legal in Single Stack due to its bushing-less bull barrel. If it had a bushing, it would be legal.

    ed: As in, I thought black oxide was bluing. Wikipedia says you can black oxide stainless but my understanding is you can’t blue stainless.

    Amazing gun, I have the 4.25inch commander model with the Bull Barrel. Great trigger and extremely accurate. I ding 6inch plates at 50yds all damn day with the stock sights, its a heavy gun but the slide is as smooth as my girlfriends thighs. Ive done a few minor upgrades and couldn’t be happier. By far the best 1911 under $1k IMO, my next 1911 will probably be an SAS or one of a multitude of their other 1911 models. This gun does not disappoint
