   if I was going to buy an ria I’d definitely start at this model, not the gi model.

   This was my first 1911 and it ran fine right out of the box. Did a diy trigger polish and it was even better. Eventually replaced guts with Wilson combat stuff and made it a bit better. Finished off with a threaded barrel that I had lgs install but they said minimal fitting was needed so maybe I could have done it myself. Current setup – https://i.imgur.com/hGhEaHg.jpg

   I bought this gun about a year and a half ago for a similar price. Works good, never had any problems with it. Would buy again.
