    It’s always funny to see which camp gets to the post first, and influences which directions the comments will go. Personally, I’ve been a big fan ever since the free barrel giveaway a few years ago. Can’t beat them for budget builds, but harness expectations and understand you may need to RMA it to get a good shooter (1 out of maybe 10 in my sample)

    At risk of sounding like a shill or even doxxing myself I’m going to link to the first page of my [BCA orders](https://imgur.com/5RmBW91).

    I have ordered about two dozen bear creek uppers in the last 3 years in 5.56 NATO, .223 Wylde, and 7.62×39. I like to gift ARs to friends and family.

    I detail strip, inspect, reassemble, and test fire every one. They all shoot 1 MOA or better. I actually believe I remember reading they guarantee their 16″+ barrels will shoot 1 MOA or they’ll replace it under warranty.

    I won’t claim every upper they ship out is perfect, but my sample size is larger than average and I’ve not had a single issue.

    Was searching for a side charging upper and they’re out of stock everywhere… Well found out that you can get a .300blk 7.5″ 1:8 parkarized barrel + 7″ free float handguard with one pre assembled for less than most other places are selling just the upper receiver for (when they’re in stock.)

    Breakdown on value, imo:

    1. Side Charging Upper (without bcg) $150
    2. Side Charging BCG $200
    3. Barrel $100
    4. Handguard $100
    5. Flash hider $12

    So overall, not a bad deal for right under $250 shipped.

    Wonder if the military discount stacks with the coupon? I’ve got a couple of their 7.26×39 uppers, the 16” is decent but the pistol upper has been nothing but issues.
