   Here is a decent quality buffer tube made of 7075. I’ve enjoyed my aimsurplus barrel and slide, but had issues with 2 of their AR safeties being able to be rotated past 90 degrees (not in a good way) and get locked up. YMMV, but its literally just a tube.

   Nice. Tube’s a tube. Buffer and spring are the only things I’d consider splurging on if you wanna go beyond just milspec on a buffer kit.

   For anyone who is a snob about buffer tubes, they still work great on bolt action chassis or if you’re adding a brace to a 10/22 pistol or something. These definitely have their place even you prefer higher quality tubes. I used a couple of these on my last couple AR builds and they have been great.
