   Not sure what the difference is compared to the 4-12 diamondback but i paid $130 refurbished so this seems like a decent price for a new similar(?) optic.

   I’m not an optics snob, but my experience with these is that the marginal increase over the low quality scopes included in most gun packages aren’t worth it. For entry level or once a year optics I’d look at the Burris 4-14×42.
