    The only good thing I can see about this package is: it’s helpful for a non-gun person who wants to get a 2a related gift for someone, but doesn’t know what exactly to get. I’ve got some weird ass gun related shit for Xmas, with good intentions, but they’re usually some sort of overpriced gimmick that wouldn’t be apparent to non-gun people (ex. Some weird ass gun cleaning tool that Was pretty useless).

    I used their cart and added just the 556, 22 and 9mm, comes to 112.89. Call it 113. That box of buckshot runs around $20 normally. We’re at 133 now leaving $17 for a $3 plastic box. Plus $16 reg ups ground which may or may not get it here by christmas. $46 2 day.

    For reference, Ammoseek shows cheapest armscor m855 at .59/500. Their price, .54/20. Cheapest m855 I can find is norma .47/100.

    This is for the lazy shopper who is trying to get gifts last minute and wants an easy click. Not a deal by any stretch. Esp if you want it by Christmas.

    The idea here is great, the pricing just isn’t quite as competitive as we’re used to seeing. Would love to see more combos like this to give as gifts to everyone from new gun owners to those with large collections!

    Here’s a rough estimate of what I’d probably end up paying for the equivalent at a local big box store:

    5.56 – 5 @ $14 = $70
    .22 – 4 @ $5 = $20
    9mm – 2 @ $20 = $40
    12 – 1 @ $25 = $25

    Total: $155 from Sportsman’s Warehouse or Academy.

    The prices I listed are for decent stuff from reputable brands. I’d say this is not a deal for Armscor ammo.

    If it helps anyone trying to calculate the actual value of this bundle, you can get a steal 50cal. ammo can from BPS/Cabela’s for $10 right now.
    (Yes, they have the rubber seal in the lid.)
