This is a great deal on the best entry-level active hearing protection you can get imo. These have directional sound amplification vs the Walker Razor base model which does not. The Noisefighters are a great upgrade that normally run $40+, and increase the decibel reduction rating while making eye pro much more comfortable for long periods of time.

  2. CrimsonTraceSupport

I run these on my bump helmet and they are fantastic for the money.

I’m looking to upgrade from my razor slims… are these much better? Do the Noise fighters work with the razor slims? Is this the only difference?

Are there better options around this price point or up to $100?

  4. YUNG_DENTIST

79 bucks shipped. Paid with PayPal too and got my chase freedom 5x points.

    Great post, thanks!

Looks like the ears themselves are about $50 on Amazon. Are the gel inserts worth $25+?

  6. meowm35

Those gel inserts are absolutely fucking amazing. It’s just like a nice cold chilly thing when you put it on.

    OOS

  8. Hotdog_spaceship

These headphones have a relatively low NRR of 22, you can get up to 26 around the same range

  9. Lurking_now_im_here

Amazon regularly has these on the cheap. Bought my first pair at $37 and second pair for 40 and gel pads for them for 18.97

Aww man, OOS. I was looking forward to upgrading my walker razor slims. Are these leights considered a step up from the razor slims? Also, can anyone confirm if the noisefighters are compatible with the razor slims? The stock pads are definitely what I’d call comfortable.

What are the best electronic muffs you can get with respect to hearing protection. I font care about bells and whistles, I just want muffs that do the best job reducing dangerous sounds. Right now I have 3M Peltors.

When I went to sight in my 30-06, I found the noise from other rifles in the range to be painful even with Surefire earbuds underneath

  13. TheStig111

These are fine(used them for a while), but a proper set of Sordins or similar really are worth the money.

  14. mehoff88

I need some new ear pro bad.

Best electronic hearing protection under $300, GO….
