Ballistic armor tech has changed drastically in the last decade to the point where there are a lot of options for those who are after budget body armor and boutique alike. In today’s video we are going to be doing some destructive testing by shooting armor of various types. Specifically Caliber Armor provided Lvl IV Ceramic plates, Lvl III Plastic Armor (uhmwpe), and Lvl III+ steel armor made of AR550 Steel cores. SO regarless of where you sit on outfitting your plate carrier loadout you will have an idea of how the different offerings stack up.
